The obverse depicts a drop of blood. The horizontal text “ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA” and the vertical denomination and abbreviated monetary unit “200 Kč” divide the drop of blood into four sections, each containing the modern classification of the A, B, O and AB blood groups.
Description reverse
The reverse features a composition of the portrait of Jan Janský and the contemporary designation of blood group AB using the Roman numeral IV. The legend “1921–2021” is incorporated in the Roman numeral I, the legend “JAN JANSKÝ” incorporated in the Roman numeral V.
