Description obverse

In the centre an eagle - State Emblem of the Republic of Poland and mintmark. Above stylised outline of the Giewont peak with the cross, with the Gerlach peak - where the Tetmajer’s Pass is located - in the back. Below the eagle: 2015. At the bottom the semicircular inscription: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA 200 Zl.

Description reverse

Facing portrait of Kazimierz Przerwa-Tetmajer. On the right side of the bust an outline of the "parzenica", a heart-shaped pattern of a traditional handicraft characteristic of the decorative art of the Polish highlanders. In the background there is a stemless carline thistle. To the right of the bust: 1865/1940. On the left side the semicircular inscription in relief: KAZIMIERZ PRZERWA-TETMAJER.
