The reverse shows the crowned generality weapon with two crowned lions on both sides. The year 2020 is included in a cartouche of leaf ornaments. The legend states: CONCORDIA - RES PARVAE - CRESCUNT which means 'Harmony makes power'. This used to be the slogan of the Republic of the Seven United Netherlands and the city of Emden, closely associated with the Netherlands.
